Patiently Waiting

For my family to arrive Wednesday for Thanksgiving.

For my (hopefully) last CD1 for the next year-ish to arrive.

To start IVF.

Baseline u/s is Tuesday morning no matter what happens.

Patience is not a virtue I possess.

  4. I find eating cookies helps pass the time, at least that's what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks.

I had my baseline on Friday; my RE said I might not even get a period since my lining looked nice and thin. I was so excited to skip, but by dinner time I was at CD 1. I hope today flies by for you. :)

  7. I can't wait for tomorrow morning to come, for the ultrasound tech to take one look at your ovaries, and to announce them fit to produce oodles of babies!

Almost there! And I would say the waiting gets easier.....but....lies, all LIES!

  9. IComLeavWe #45:

New here from IComLeavWe! Waiting is something we are forced to learn with IF. Psalm 5:3 tells us:

Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.

I hope you are filled with the joy that waiting expectantly can bring this holiday season!

  10. You're just ahead of where I am. DH and I have been married a little over 5 years, and we're hoping to start IVF #1 in the winter. We were supposed to do it in September, but then I ended up a carrier for a genetic disorder, so we're waiting to see if DH is too. I turn 30 on Wednesday...when's your birthday?
