...from an absolutely amazing, breathtaking, and healing vacation.

The highlights?
Equatorial Dorkiness
Giant Tortoises
(excuse me... there's something on your nose...)
Barrel-Rolling Sea Lions!
(Dr Boy made me smudge his face parts)
The low-lights?
- Coming home
- Being home
- WTF appointments
- Intestinal parasites

Oh yeah. When they say not to even brush your teeth with the water? They mean it.

Seriously though, this vacation definitely ties French Polynesia for first place. It was ridiculously amazing.

Otherwise, I'm not in a super great place right now, having had our WTF appointment and gotten the calendar for IVF Numero Dos. Long story short, we're approaching it the same way- antagonist protocol, similar stimming (starting on June 3rd). I'm having a hard time working out in my head how it's all of a sudden going to work. You know, the whole doing the same thing but expecting different results conundrum? I'm trying though. It very well could have just been bad luck. More on the calendar and stuff later.

Enjoy the pics... I may be dropping a few in here and there for the foreseeable future... I can't stop going through them!

  1. Glad you had a great time. Looks amazing!!! I've always wanted to go there.

  2. Galapagos! And you went to the legit equatorial museum instead of the crappy monument one that's not even in the right spot! Niiiiiiice! Did you see the shrunken heads?

Your pics are great and I'm so glad you had a good vacation. Make it your current happy place so you can go back there when the shitty thoughts take over.

  3. Wow. You went to the Galapagos Islands? Sooooo jealous! That's my dream vacation. :)

I'm glad you had a great time. Sorry the reality you came back to isn't better, though.

  4. I was wondering about you!

I'm so glad the vacation went so well. The Galapagos look amazing!! I'm relaxing just from looking at the picture

Ugh about the parasites. I hope you are cured from them soon. In the meantime, be good to yourself.

  5. Welcome back! I had to laugh at the brushing your teeth with the water thing. On our honeymoon in Mexico, our travel agent specifically told us to make sure we use bottled water to brush our teeth, and I kept repeating that over and over in my head prior to leaving. Then what? We get there and I completely space it off. It took 3 days into our trip to realize I had been using the water. Eeek! Thankfully I didn't get sick, but I was definitely panicking for awhile!

Sending many positive thoughts your way that this next IVF cycle brings you much different, and better, results.

  6. Glad you had a great trip! Sounds like it was just what the Dr. ordered. ;) Hoping this next cycle goes well. Thinking about you!

  7. I am so glad you had a good trip. You deserve to have some sunshine and relaxation in your life right now. One of our fellow bloggers got pregnant on her third IVF, so it does work. Keep you head up for as long as you can. I have faith.

  8. Your trip looks simply charming, and absolutely gorgeous. My favorite thing about Ecuador is that they named the entire country for the equator: that is commitment, my friend. Hope the parasites depart soon and best of luck getting psyched up for IVF #2!

  9. Looks beautiful :) Hope you're feeling better soon. Know what you mean about trying the same thing again and hoping for different results... statistically our time should come up soon :)) FXd for you xoxo

You know you want to tell me how ridiculous I am...
